Chiang Mai How Many Days

The cat is out of the bag

We have the cat is out of the bag, as they say. The giant Blackboard e-learning, LMS famous, has announced the acquisition of its main competitor in the U.S. market, Angel Learning, for $ 95 million. ... Interesting comment following article:

Forse veramente stiamo passando dalla centrale a coal to wind farms.

Wooden Fingerboards Climbing

A Post-LMS poster

Last year I wrote a post in the widespread perception of international groped to overcome the paradigm of e-learning based only the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS). Well, this perception is becoming a real movement of opinion: John Mott, attempts to synthesize it in a "manifesto " Post also picked up by the legendary Stephen Downes.
Obviously there are various nuances and positions. I personally think that the LMS
perform their function very well in the areas of formal (school, university, company) but outside need more open tools, able to manage our interaction with the world, to communicate and share problems related to the contexts of life and professional ... something hard to achieve if we remain in a closed environment with login, password and system administrator.
